Dissapointing that the lagoons are not for use as a pool but only decoration. Grea location and facilities Avis voyageur Hotels. Very packed but it was over New Year - food was basic and expensive. When you walk into this hotel it looks spectacular with its wide foyer and huge windows 1 avis sur robots piscine over look water features, then the pool and finally out onto the ocean. All the staff are incredibly polite and friendly.
When we checked in we really weren't given specific instructions on how to get to our room on the second floor - it was a maze of corridors and elevators and it honestly took at least 10 minutes to finally find. When we were inside it was too hot and we couldn't get the air -conditioning to work in the end we called the front desk who send someone later to fix it - not sure how long that took as we had to leave the room to cool down.
The room itself was fine although there were clear signs of wear and tear but it was just so far from everything! Service was very slow at the bar and clearly they were understaffed -again then everyone was very polite and friendly. All of this happened in the first hour of our stay so we had very mixed feelings about the place but breakfast the next morning was excellent, the proximity to the beach is incredible and around the pool feels very luxurious so on the whole I would recommend this hotel.

Guests feel like they are at a true resort but close enough by transport or car to get to all the major tourist attractions. The evening buffet is fabulous and caters to all tastes. Take the opportunity to go to this resort if you can get a good deal. We appreciate your support, and we're really pleased to know you had such an enjoyable time here at our beautiful resort.
Mark Sexton, General Manager. A mediocre hotel at the best location on the Gold Coast. The view from the private beach is the single best thing. The check-in was a mess. The crib which was confirmed a week ago was not in the room. The aircon was noisy and the shower water went from extreme cold to extreme hot every 30 seconds, which makes shower a torture. On Wednesday, the room service came when we were having nap, we told the cleaning lady to come after 3: But no one ever came!
We enjoyed a mini break just before Christmas and it was fantastic. Great pool and fab location. Even though it's only an hours drive from home, it's a world away. Beautiful beach, great restaurants etc. I want to recommend them who want to have a breakfast in this hotel. Access to beach within 20 metres. Clean hotel, friendly enough staff and great water features around the grounds. The shower was over a spa bath so not great for elderly.

If you are so worried about people trying to sneak in an unpaid breakfast why dont you just put it in the rate and every person is covered for breakfast no matter what.
They are like the fraud squad. Other people had the same reaction. You shouldnt have to put so much pressure on your staff that they have to behave this way. I have been coming to your resort for over 30 years, I have my whole family come every year. When I first started comiing the dining staff wore long skirts and it felt like an island resort. I think you need to simmer down the staff in the dining section when it comes to paying.
The bill at the pool needs fixing. WE sign a piece of paper and never see what we are paying for or signing and it just goes on our room account and is to hard to clarify.
It is a very ancient system and needs revising. Swimming pool was awesome and the pool bar made it feel like somewhere in the carribean. Overall we thought it was great value for money.
